As suggested by Mag. Sinan Gültekin and Mag. Werner Krause (art teachers) we held an exhibition at the end of our project in the entrance hall of our school.

Dir. Dr. Braunstein and Mag. Gültekin with pupils of class 6B

In his opening speech Dr. Braunstein emphasized the particular importance of the chosen topic “European Youth Against Intolerance and Racism” and referred to the actuality that makes it worth tackling the issue.
We then had a buffet which the class had prepared.

“Colour-Ethnical diversity”The paintings will be presented at our European partner schools. The paintings, photos, posters and objects, as well as video will document the artistic results of our students’ works.

The object “Colour-Ethnical diversity” shows the different colours of the skin and the ethnic multitude of humankind. Four balloons and ribbons attached to them are however tied to the ground and the soil that remains the same to all of us and symbolise the world where we have to live together and cooperate with reason.

Positive ideas and the motto “European Youth Against Intolerance and Racism” taken up this year by our European Comenius project will always be welcome at the GRG23 Alterlaa.
